One phrase will explain my absence from photography: I teach 150 6th graders. Let's just say I've been busy. :)

Anyways, I've been working on some photo shoots and I have a few coming up. As life slows down I'll continue to post some of them. Here's just a couple of shots of my beautiful cousin and her wonderful husband from yesterday's anniversary shoot at Lake Hollingsworth.

{Anniversary Shoot}

In the last week, I have done 2 anniversary shoots with some of my absolute favorite couples. I think there is something so special and unique about these types of shoots. The ups and downs of marriage, the shared experiences, appreciation for each other, and the love becomes some sort of secret language that only the two of them can understand. It's exciting to capture these special moments. Here are some of my faves and I'll keep you posted when the full posts are ready!

She's getting her Master degree in psychology in 2 weeks and I'm getting my Bachelor's in Secondary Social Science Education (fancy way of saying I want to be a Middle/High School History Teacher). After it took me ALL day to make my 101 things to do list (I ran out of ideas after goal 10), I am constantly thinking of something else I should've put in it! One of the goals that should have been added is to consistently update my blog. Even if that means putting in some sneak peaks just so that everyone knows what's coming up or what to expect next.
So I'm posting a sneak peak to a wedding of a friend of mine that I have known since the 4th grade. Yep, the 4th grade :) Enjoy the preview now and check back in the next few days to see the full post!
