{Reuben & Vivian | Family}

The last three months of the year is the best time for many reasons.
The weather (slightly) changes, girls start wearing boots, and families start contacting me for shoots. And I love family shoots! Reuben and Vivian's family was no different. I've known Reuben since high school, so I was thrilled when he asked me to photograph his engagement five years ago. You can only imagine my excitement when they contacted me about his family session.
Their little kids were so adorable in their costumes, I just couldn't stop taking pictures of them!

{Bekah & Paul | Engagement}

One of the sweetest couples I've met is Bekah and Paul. 

They were near the end of their engagement (when we met, they were 3 weeks away from their wedding) and still having a blast through the whole process. The two of them were just excited to be together and trying to figure out the next part of their lives. 

Also, I got to shoot at Lake Mirror and Lake Morton, which I just looooovvvveeeee. 

Beautiful couple and beautiful location makes my job easy :)

{Anniversary Shoot}

In the last week, I have done 2 anniversary shoots with some of my absolute favorite couples. I think there is something so special and unique about these types of shoots. The ups and downs of marriage, the shared experiences, appreciation for each other, and the love becomes some sort of secret language that only the two of them can understand. It's exciting to capture these special moments. Here are some of my faves and I'll keep you posted when the full posts are ready!

{Stephanie Senior Photos | Lakeland, FL}

Is it really already October!? Where has this year gone? Well, we're right around the corner from graduation and we've started our senior sessions! Our first for this school year, Stephanie, came all the way from Rochester, NY to help Amanda set up her (adorable, superhero themed) classroom. The last Saturday of her trip, we decided to get her pictures done in the morning to beat the rain. But, eventually it caught up with us. No worries! We improvised :)

My new favorite phrase is "So fun" and those are the 2 words that describe this great couple! Oh wow! We laughed all day! They are one of those couples that you can see that they don't only love to be with each other, but they LOVE to have fun. I hope this small preview of their engagement session we did at the end of 2009 shows just that! We love you guys and can't wait to shoot your wedding in March!
